If you speak German, you will want to listen to the Quilt Karussell podcast. I met Emanuela Jeske on instagram. She is a listener to my podcast and has always posted lovely comments on my podcast posts. At first I did not know her podcast was in German, and i played an episode and was quickly disappointed that I could not listen to her podcast. So, the next best thing is to have her on my podcast! I am so happy she speaks English and agreed to come onto my show.
We talk about all things quilting, and I learn about the differences of quilting in Germany from where I live in the US. Quilt fabrics are not as available as they are here, and quilting is not a popular. People that sew in Germany tend to prefer fashion and garment sewing.
One thing that is not different, is that the quilters in Germany have a passion and love for all things quilty just like the rest of us. I love the kindred spirits we can connect with all over the world with today’s technology. I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I do!

David Austin Roses This is a referral from the “Let’s Grow Girls” podcast. I ordered two rose bushes. They are bare root rose bushes, so they will not bloom until next year which is the hardest part…having patience and waiting for beautiful rose blooms.
