Happy Thanksgiving!
I hope you all are enjoying your Thanksgiving holiday. This time of year is both magical and exhausting at the same time. It seems like we cram in extended family time, keep up with work, add shopping/making gifts for everyone - all in a single month’s time. We can get caught up in the frenzy of Black Friday, Cyber Monday and before we know it - we are in a new year, setting new goals and trying to hit the ground running…again.
This is the first year I have ever started decorating for Christmas before Thanksgiving. I had always felt that to decorate before Thanksgiving was diminishing it, but now that I have a fully decorated Christmas tree going into Thanksgiving, I am thrilled! Decorating for Christmas really puts me into a festive and jolly frame of mind and spirit. I also feel more organized going into the holiday having most of the decorating completed. Now, I can take time to fully enjoy this holiday season without feeling like I can’t keep up.
