This is the floor light I recently got for my cutting table and straight stitch sewing machine. I absolutely love it! The next product is the magnifying glass attachment that clips anywhere onto the light, which is a must have for me.

I do not have these under counter puck lights, but have similar lights like these. I like that these have a remote control and they are wireless. Easy install.

What I am Watching

This is the three season series currently on Acorn TV, Keeping Faith. It is a binge worthy show with good characters and storyline throughout the series. If you watch this, let me know what you think about it.

Guest Segment: Kristin Esser, Simple Handmade Everyday

I had the most lovely chat with Kristen Esser on this episode. I am a long time listener of Kristin’s podcast Simple Handmade Everyday. Early in the year, Kristin was talking about her Master Bath project that she wanted to start and finish this year, but she was stuck and having a difficult time with where to start and how to carry through her vision all the while staying within budget. This is a very common design dilemma, and I knew I could help Kristin with this project. I reached out to her and offered my design help (with the hope that she would come onto my podcast to chat about it 😉) and she took me up on it. From there it was a really fun project to collaborate on with Kristin. I love what she chose in the new flooring, lighting and accessories.

This was a partial renovation, and it looks like a completely new bathroom! That is what the power of changing paint color, updating flooring and adding color and drama with the accessories can do to a room. Below are before and after photos from Kristin. It really looks like a zen oasis which was Kristin’s vision for this room.

🤑Budget friendly tip: Kristin kept her existing vanity and replaced the counter top and had the vanity refaced with an updated door design and hardware. It is like getting a new custom made vanity!
