What’s going on around here

Below are some pics of flowers, herbs and I did cave in and got cherry tomato, peppers and green bean plants. I don’t have a green thumb, but you know how they say “don’t go to the grocery store when you are hungry”? Well, also don’t shop for flowers when you are hungry either…the veggie plants looked so fresh and they put enticing photos of the vegetables fully ready to pick in perfect condition. It was making me hungrier!! LOL :)

My “To Make” for June List

My top 3 makes for June are: Knit PJ’s for me, travel dog bed for Cooper, and Yarn minder bag for my portable hexies crochet project.

The Molly pjs pattern has options for short sleeves, long sleeves, pants or shorts - yoga waistband or elastic waistband - very versatile!

My pj’s fabric: Pixelfly Eden knit in Lavender by AGF: Katarina Rocella

5oo4 pattern: Molly knit pajama set

Yarn Minder Bag: pattern by Sew Sweetness

I don’t have the fabrics picked out for this bag yet. I do have some fuscia, and navy colored netting that would look nice on the front of the bag. I think I am going to make the middle option - the first row on the left - the one with the grommets on top and mesh pockets around the outside.

If anyone has made this bag - let me know. Was it easy? any tips? would you make it again? Does it work for your yarn and tools?

Travel dog bed for my Cooper (the dog in the photo on the right). I made the dog bed in the photo on the left, and it will be a good bed to plop in the backseat of the car for Cooper - he is a creature of comfort! I made the top color to match the dog’s fur - so you don’t see all the dog hairs on it - and the bottom black so it doesn’t show dirt. I will be making Cooper’s bed from whatever I can find in my fabric stash. The bed has a zipper on the back for quick removal to be washed.

Dog bed with foam insert - not my dog. I made this and gifted it to my client.

This is my Cooper, sleeping in his dog bed in my office.
